Come and See – Pilgrimage to the Solomon Islands 2026

10 – 20 JULY 2026

Location: Honiara and surrounds, Solomon Islands

ABM continues its 175th anniversary celebrations with a pilgrimage to the Anglican Church of Melanesia, where ABM’s mission work first started in 1850. ABM was formed to raise funds for the first Southern Cross, the mission boat for the Melanesian Mission, which later became the Anglican Church of Melanesia.

Many times in the Bible people are invited to “Come and See” what God is doing. You are invited to join Archbishop Jeremy Greaves on this special ABM Pilgrimage to the Solomon Islands from 10–20 July to come and see the fruit of 175 years of mission and what God is doing today through the Anglican Church of Melanesia.

This pilgrimage offers a rich opportunity to:

  • Worship with local Anglican communities
  • Learn about the work and mission of the Anglican Church of Melanesia
  • Visit communities engaged in ABMsupported activities
  • Witness firsthand what God is doing through the Church and its people
  • Build relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ

As we share in the life, faith, and hospitality of Anglicans in the Solomon Islands, we will gain deeper insight into the ministry of our partners and the transformative impact of their work.
