You can bring urgent medical aid to families in Gaza and the West Bank
People in Gaza are enduring displacement, hunger and the collapse of essential services. Please give now to help families affected by the crisis.
Gaza-Palestine. Amid the massive destruction, a young man and his mother drive a cart through the streets
As war rages across the Middle East, ABM Anglicans in Development continues its steadfast support for the humanitarian emergency in Gaza and the West Bank.
During the fourth phase of the Anglican Alliance-led response to this emergency (Sep 2025-Feb 2026), your generosity funded medical consultations and treatment for 2,987 Palestinians.
This included:
-
1,494 patients treated at Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza and
-
1,493 patients treated at St Luke’s Hospital in the West Bank
These vital hospitals, managed by the Diocese of Jerusalem and the Middle East, continue to be places of healing for people who have faced trauma, grief and exhaustion after the prolonged conflict.
Sawsan Aranki-Batato, Programs Development Officer of the diocese expressed thanks for the support of international partners:
“We are deeply grateful for the outstanding solidarity and encouragement during these devastating times. Your prayers and support are what sustain us in our work.”
But the humanitarian crisis continues. The destruction of everyday infrastructure has meant that almost all Gazans face severe shortages of clean drinking water and food. Medical workers and patients live under constant threat of attack.
“We need to sustain this coalition of support due to the sharp escalation of the crisis, which is directly impacting people’s incomes and limiting their ability to afford basic needs,” she says.
Despite incredible adversity, the medical and support staff of these hospitals continue to show up to treat the sick and injured. But they need your ongoing support to fund the vital next stage of the response.
The average cost of medical care for one patient at Al Ahli Arab Hospital is $218. Currently, the alliance of international Anglican partners needs to raise more funds in order to fully support the Diocese of Jerusalem and the Middle East with the next phase of emergency response.
Your generous gift today will help fill this gap, enabling our brave brothers and sisters in Gaza and the West Bank to treat more people and save lives. Can you help?
Please give today to help deliver emergency medical care to those who need it most.

PRAYER
FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY THE CONFLICT IN GAZA AND ISRAEL
Almighty and Everlasting God:
Our days are in your hands;
we lift up all those in the Holy Land who are victims of violence and injustice, that you might empower your Church to bring healing to the wounded, relief to the suffering, and comfort to those who mourn;
we pray also that you would soften the hearts of all those involved in the conflict, that they would be led to work for justice and lasting peace in the land where your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, first came to bring hope and abundant life to all people;
these things we ask in his Holy Name.
Amen.
Funds raised in excess of what is needed will go to similar work or to our rapid response fund.
