Mrs Diana Radford from St Michael's Cleve Ladies Guild recently wrote to ABM about their Combined Guilds’ Day which took place on Friday 20th November.

It was a most successful event with 50 people in attendance and a total of $764.30 raised for ABM in support of Papua New Guinea.

Mrs Radford said, “Josie Scott spoke on her recent Kokoda Track experience and showed photos. We acknowledged Lilla Lashmar’s martyrdom and sacrifice, and promoted the work of ABM. Your DVD (about PNG) was shown. We sang and gave out the bookmarks, and all read the prayer given.”

“May our Lord continue to bless the work of ABM and all who support the mission,” she said.

They sang ‘Bind us Together’ which was appropriate for the different denominations represented by the guilds. All in all, it was a very positive and enjoyable gathering.

ABM would like to thank Mrs Radford and everyone who contributed to the fundraising event. Without your support and others like you who are helping ABM in their own way, it would not be possible to carry out our work.

Please contact our office if you have a Supporter Story to share or would like some promotional materials.
