COMMUNION DAY OF PRAYER

ABM invites you to an Anglican Communion Day of Prayer this coming Tuesday, 30 November.

The Zoom prayer event has been organised by UK mission agency, USPG. It takes place over 24 hours and celebrates each province of the Anglican Communion. By logging into the Zoom call at any time during the day, you can learn more about each Anglican Province, and join with them in prayer as you are able. St Andrew’s Day was chosen since Andrew was the first to be called by Christ to follow as a disciple, and so it is one of the great missionary feasts of the Church.

Our Australian province is being highlighted from 1.30-2.00pm. But you can also tune in with many of ABM’s partners, including in the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Myanmar, the Philippines and Kenya at various times of the day.

Find out more about the schedule here (noting that times are in UTC and the local time of the presenting church. The time in Sydney and Melbourne is UTC +11).
