Flickering Lights is a collection of poems about refugee character.
The author, Australian Anglican priest Fr Ron Browning, has been a friend of the Karen people (from Myanmar/Burma) for several years. Many people were displaced from their villages during the civil conflict. Some have moved to border camps and others have recently resettled in Australia, the United States and other western countries.
These poems trace the journey of many Karen people, focussing on a people’s amazing inner strength, loyalty and rich culture in the face of oppression.

GRIT & GRACE
- The Story of the Anglican Board of Mission - Australia
The history of ABM written by former ABM National Director, Bishop Brian Kyme and Jan Carroll, was launched on 5th October 2013 at Perth Synod by the Archbishop, the Most Revd Roger Herft. The book entitled 'Grit & Grace' was generously sponsored by the John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School in Perth. It aims to provide a snapshot of the main events in ABM’s 163 year-old history, as well as going into more depth in some key areas of its past mission activities.
Grit & Grace is available from the ABM Sydney office for a donation of $20 per book plus P&H. Proceeds from the sale of the book will go towards the support of ABM’s Evangelism project in the Toungoo Diocese of Myanmar.

My Brother Vivian ... and the Christian Martyrs of Papua New Guinea
Author Patrick Redlich writes about the life and death of his brother Vivian Redlich, English missionary priest in wartime PNG.
The book was launched by Bishop Rob Nolan on 31 July 2012 at Holy Trinity Church Hall in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
Copies of the book are available for $25, and all profits will go to the establishment of a Teachers’ College at Popondetta, PNG.
