JERUSALEM CROSSES

The Jerusalem Cross tells the story of Easter. It symbolises the five wounds Jesus Christ suffered when he was crucified on Good Friday. But the story doesn't finish there - the central cross also represents Christ continuing to draw people into an intimate and loving relationship with God. The four small crosses symbolise Christians being sent out to the four corners of the world to share the love of Christ with all those they meet. They are also said to represent the four Gospel evangelists.

These crosses, which are 6cm x 7cm, were made in Bethlehem from olive wood. The Olive tree which grows in the Holy Land can survive for over 2,000 years.

HAND-MADE OLIVE WOOD DOVE BROOCHES

The brooches are made by Christian craftsmen in the Palestine territories.The Bethlehem family tradition of olive wood crafting is passed from generation to generation. Each unique piece is created with care and passion.
