Amidst the difficulties experienced in working incountry, ABM continues to raise funds and seek support from Australian Anglicans as preparation for the time when the situation becomes more favourable in Myanmar. In this ongoing work with the Church in Myanmar, ABM seeks to strengthen its capacity to undertake community development which aids poverty reduction. In the past, ABM has conducted workshops designed to build capacity within the church.

Here are some of the ways your gift will be used:

  • $65 will help to train volunteer health workers
  • $150 will support health training for rural villages
  • $200 will assist with HIV and AIDS awareness-raising
  • $750 will support the provision of clean water

We need to raise $30,000* in 2008
