Youth in North Africa
The Diocese of Egypt and North Africa gives special priority to young people and youth ministry in their transformation from maintenance to mission. Through ABM’s assistance, the first-ever youth ministry training was held in the Diocese during 2006. Among youth leaders in the Diocese there is a great energy for testing and developing Egyptian models of youth work and ministry. It is from the swelling ranks of young people that students are being selected for the new Alexandria School of Theology as the Diocese
continues to develop and strengthen.
Here are some of the ways your gift will be used:
- $25 per person brings a young person by bus to fellowship services in Algiers for a year
- $4,340 provides church-run holiday activities for university students in Algeria
We need to raise $15,007 in 2008
