Ministry at Woorabinda - The Rev'd Dan Joyce

The Anglican Church continues to be present with the Aboriginal community at Woorabinda through the ministry of Rev’d Dan Joyce and his wife Edith. The population of Woorabinda is around 950 people and it is 2.5 hours drive from Rockhampton where Dan and his family live. Dan runs worship services and attends to baptisms, weddings and funerals as well as offering pastoral care at the hospital in Woorabinda. He is also involved with Indigenous Ministry in Rockhampton. This long-term ministry continues to need our help as Dan maintains this significant ministry to the community.
