Rev’d Saul Burns works as a chaplain to the Lotus Glen Correctional Centre near Mareeba where he ministers to the mostly Indigenous inmates on a twoday- a-week basis. Saul says he believes the inmates are responding positively to the messages he is giving which emphasises the very real importance of this ministry. Saul also provides chaplaincy care to some of the hospitals in Cairns and at an aged-care centre.
