Bishop James continues in his role as Assistant Bishop of the Diocese of North Queensland as well as holding a special role as Aboriginal Bishop with a national perspective on Aboriginal issues. He remains as a member of NATSIAC – the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Anglican Council and NATSIEC – the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ecumenical Council. Bishop James also ministers at St Luke’s Church in Cairns and further afield in the North Queensland Aboriginal communities. Your support for this project recognises the national role that the Bishop undertakes on behalf of Aboriginal people around Australia.
