The St Albans Anglican Church at Yarrabah Aboriginal community near Cairns, is seeking to appoint a Youth Worker to work with the many young people in the community. The population at Yarrabah is currently more than 4,000 and of this, 60% are young people under 25. Some of the objectives of the project are to establish a Youth and Children’s ministry team, to provide leadership training and Bible studies as well as cultural dancing, songs and Christian camping. This project would be administered through the Church and Diocese.
