About ABM's Work in Emergencies

In responding to emergency situations throughout the world, ABM cooperates with different partners, regionally and internationally, to assist those most in need. In the event of an emergency in any country in which ABM maintains a relationship with a church partner, we will channel funds through their respective church emergency committees in order to ensure that the response is mediated by people close to the situation on the ground.

ABM’s response to other emergency situations that occur in countries in which ABM does not have a partner church or organisation are channelled through other agencies such as Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD) and ACT Alliance which responds to worldwide emergency situations via church networks throughout the world in order to raise funding through appeals for emergency response activities in the country affected.
