Five Marks of Mission

The Rev'd T Bogar, PNG

The Five Marks of Mission were developed by the Anglican Consultative Council over a period of years; the original version is available in "Bonds of Affection-1984 ACC-6 p49, Mission in a Broken World-1990 ACC-8 p101".

ABM's Five Marks of Mission

  • Witness to Christ's saving, forgiving and reconciling love for all people
  • Build welcoming, transforming communities of faith
  • Stand in solidarity with the poor and needy
  • Challenge injustice and oppression
  • Protect, care for and renew life on our planet

ABM grounds all of its work in one or more of the Marks of Mission.
