Linda was born in the USA, has lived in the UK and is now an Australian. She holds qualifications in music, theology and public health. Since 1991, Linda has worked in the development and evaluation of health care services, both in the UK and in Australia, in the roles of facilitator, manager and independent consultant. She was one of the first quality facilitators in the British National Health Service and assisted primary care teams to evaluate and improve the provision of services to local communities. In Australia, she has worked with general practitioners through the General Practice Divisions, and contributed to academic research in primary care in Western Australia and New South Wales. More recently, Linda has explored the connection between faith communities and the provision of health care, including extensive doctoral research on the influence of faith-based agencies on the international development sector.
Linda has been closely involved with ABM since 1998 as a Board member, Standing Committee member, and member of the Development Committee. Linda lives in Sydney and is a parishioner at St James' Church, King St, Sydney.
